Privacy policy
Christ Connect Family Church Zambia ("CCFC Zambia", "we") runs ccfczambia.org, koinonia.ccfczambia.org and worship.ccfczambia.org. This policy explains what we collect, why, who helps us, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Account details. Your name, email address, and optionally your phone number and profile photo. Passwords are stored only as a secure hash by our database provider. If you continue with Google or Facebook we receive your name, email address and profile picture from that provider. We never see your Google or Facebook password.
- What you post. Comments, reactions, feed posts, blog posts, library uploads and the time they were made.
- Forms. Koinonia registrations (name, sex, age range, address, country, phone, email, the days you will attend, dietary needs and your expectations), Worship Connect applications, and messages or prayer requests you send from the contact page.
- Questions you ask Yuriel. The text you type into the chat assistant, so it can answer.
- Technical data. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as IP address and browser type, for security. If you allow analytics we also count page views and page speed anonymously.
We do not run advertising trackers and we do not sell personal information.
How we use it
- To run your account on all three sites and show your name on what you post.
- To plan gatherings you register for, contact applicants, reply to messages and pray with you.
- To answer questions through the chat assistant.
- To keep the sites safe, prevent abuse of the feed and fix problems.
- To understand, in aggregate, which pages help people, if you allow analytics.
We rely on your consent for optional cookies, analytics and embedded maps, and on our legitimate interest as a church for running accounts, forms and security. You can withdraw consent at any time.
Who helps us
These organisations process information for us. Some store it outside Zambia, for example in the United States or Europe, under their own security and privacy commitments.

Posts on the public feeds are visible to anyone. Prayer requests and contact messages go only to the pastoral team. Registrations and applications are visible only to the church team members who organise them. When you choose WhatsApp or email on the contact page, your message is sent through that app and its own privacy terms apply.
Cookies and browser storage
When you first visit, we ask what you are happy with. One choice covers all three CCFC sites. You can change it at any time with , also in every footer.

How long we keep it
- Accounts and posts: until you delete them or ask us to delete your account.
- Koinonia registrations and Worship Connect applications: for up to 12 months after the conference or decision, then deleted, unless you ask us to keep you on our list.
- Contact messages and prayer requests: only as long as needed to respond and care for you.
- Yuriel chats and the files you share with Yuriel: we do not store them. A file you attach is sent to OpenAI only so Yuriel can answer you, and is forgotten when you reload or leave the page; only a small preview stays in your browser with the conversation. OpenAI may keep chats and files for a short period for abuse monitoring under its own policy.
Your rights
Under Zambia's Data Protection Act No. 3 of 2021 you can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, object to how we use it, or withdraw consent. You can edit most of your details yourself in the Account Center. For anything else, email info@ccfczambia.org or message the office on WhatsApp. We will respond within 30 days. If you are unhappy with our response you may complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner of Zambia.
Children
Accounts are for people aged 13 and over. Parents or guardians may register children for Koinonia and are responsible for the details they share. Connect Kids information is handled in person by the children's ministry team, not through these websites.
Security
The sites use HTTPS. Access to registrations, applications and dashboards is limited by role, and every role change is logged. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password and sign out on shared devices.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information we will update this page and the date at the top. For significant changes we will also post a notice on the church feed.
